The Geraldton Junior and Senior Motocross Club was formed in April 1976 originally under the name of "Geraldton Mini Bike Club". The name was changed to "Geraldton Junior & Senior Motocross Club" in May 1985.

The Club has utilized many tracks over the years including Bringo and Wells park however, due to property owner changes and a few noise problems these tracks are no longer used.
The Club now has a home track in Geraldton, located on Landfill Rd Meru. The track is still fresh with a lot of work to be done and is showing potential as being an excellent race track.

GJSMC also has a track at Dongara called Whyatt Farm. This is known as one of the best sand tracks in WA if not Australia. Whyatt Farm has been the venue of several Open events and State rounds, all getting rave reviews. It is also the venue for the annual Australia Day Arena Cross event that attracts some of the states best riders racing under lights with thousands of spectators.

We also have an excellent track in Jurien Bay which is used several times a year on our race calendar.

The members of the GJSMC also have a keen interest in Enduro events and try to incorporate several Pony express and natural terrain MX events over the season attracting large numbers from all over the state.
